The 74HC02 integrated circuit is a highspeed CMOS Logic family epitomizing high performance characteristics. As in the case with all Logic "building-blocks", the intention of the 74HC02 is to act as an interface between systems of differing abilities or requirements.
The 74HC02 is classified as a Quad 2-Input NOR Gate. The device contains four independent NOR gates which performs the logical function of Boolean multiplication; NOT X Y = (X)(Y).
