The stored data can then be shifted to the output lines (Q0-Q5) depending on the clock pulse? This means that, with each rising or falling edge of the clock pulse, the content of the shift register will be shifted one bit in the left or right direction, respectively. As soon as the LE pin is brought to logic 0, the data stored in the input pins is allowed to be loaded in the shift register storage, ready to be shifted. This shift register is available in a 16-pin MSSOP package.
