Working Principle

82001-56 is a five-digit counter and timer instrument with seven keys for setting various parameters and functions, along with a liquid crystal display (LCD). The LCD has five digits that can display negative (--) or zero (00) numbers. It is designed for displaying time, speed, cumulative time, and quantity.

Several ways of accepting input are available: reset input, manual/automatic counting input (up/ down), pulse/pulse width signal input, and external reset input. As for the output mode, 82001-56 has two types. They are inter-val and reset output. In inter-val mode, an output pulse is generated when a preset value appears on the display. The length of the output pulse can be easily set. In reset output mode, an output pulse is generated when the display reaches the starting point.
