Film Capacitors

A film capacitor (also or often called a plastic film capacitor or dielectric film capacitor) is a capacitor that uses a thin plastic film as the dielectric, sometimes combined with paper as a backing. They are mostly used for low-voltage and low-frequency filtering or signal coupling. Film capacitors can come in a variety of forms, including dipole and bipolar configurations and are used for many different purposes, including rectifying circuits, coupling, motor drive, motor start, phase control and power supplies.

The 824MKP275KG is a high performance, non-polarized, film capacitor with a range of capacities and maximum voltage ratings. It utilizes a thin metalized polypropylene film dielectric and is manufactured using an optimized winding structure.
