The gyro resonator is composed of a quartz crystal, which, when attracted by a magnetic field, vibrates and creates a field of rotation in the direction of the magnetic field.The gyroscope functions using a process called Coriolis Effect. The Coriolis Effect is the acceleration of a body in a rotating frame due to its angular motion relative to the coordinates of that particular frame. This gyroscope uses the Coriolis effect to detect a rotation axis and measure the velocity, acceleration, and attitude of an object.When the gyroscope is mounted on an object, it will respond to changes in the linear acceleration, such as acceleration due to gravity or due to changes in speed. When the vehicle or object is being tilted, the axis of the gyroscope changes its orientation which in turn results in the capacitive sensing bridge generating an electric charge, which is measured by the gyro resonator.
