9DB801CGLFT is an integrated and sophisticated clock generator that can be effectively applied in various occasions, such as time base correction and serial communication synchronization. Its application field covers diverse industries from consumer electronics, communication, medical equipment, industrial control, automotive and so on. Furthermore, it can simultaneously provide both differential and single ended output signals.
Key features of 9DB801CGLFT include a wide range of output frequency, excellent jitter performance, low supply current, wide supply voltage range and integrated voltage controlled oscillator (VCO). It offers multiple I/O programmable interfaces, where users can program the output frequency, output clock source and select different VCO frequency ranges.
In terms of the working principle, 9DB801CGLFT integrates the programmable oscillator (C1) and output enable (OE) logic into a single package. The oscillator works by toggling the on/off state of the oscillator in a cyclical fashion. The output signal is conditioned by the OE logic, adjusted for rise/fall times, and sent to the output. This Clock/Timing - Application Specific device has the clock cores such as CLK1, CLK2, CLK3 and CLK4.
The 9DB801CGLFT can generate up to four clock outputs for synchronizing with the local oscillator’s reference. It provides excellent jitter performance with very low False Operating Rate (FOP). The VCO can achieve wide range of output frequency from 1MHz to 450MHz. The I/O programmable interfaces allow users to program the output frequency, output clock source and select different VCO frequency range. It supports external clock input operating at 50kHz to 3.45GHz.
In addition to the high performance, the device also offers superior power efficiency with ultra-low supply current of 3mA (typ) and wide supply voltage range. This makes the 9DB801CGLFT ideal for low-power applications with demanding performance. The device is housed in a small package of 15-pin TSSOP and is fully RoHS compliant in order to meet the current environmental guidelines.
By using 9DB801CGLFT, users achieve industry standard clock synchronization and time base accuracy, which can significantly improve the communication performance.
