Toggle switches are one of the most widely used and ubiquitous switching device available on the market today. The common types of toggle switch are single pole, double pole and three pole. The A12AV-GB toggle switch has application fields such as home and office automation, industrial automation and telecommunication, as well as many other industries. The switch is suitable for switching AC/DC mains up to 250V.The A12AV-GB toggle switch is equipped with a two-position changeover contact and a red rocker control button. When the switch is actuated, the contact switch can jump from one position to another. The contact is identified using three different colours, namely, red, green and blue. The red colour indicates that the switch is open, and when the switch is engaged, the contact will switch to green, indicating that the switch is closed. The blue contact indicates that the switch is in the neutral position.The working principle of A12AV-GB toggle switch is based on the contact switching and mechanical movement mechanism. When the switch lever is pressed, the rocker and the main body head moves into a different position along with the stem, thereby changing the contact position from one to the other. The switching mechanism is quite durable and can easily be switched between the contact points.The toggle switch is designed with a deep red rocker button, black textured main body, and a grey-white marking label. The main body is provided with six terminals, namely, two N/O pins, two N/C pins, one common pin and a circuit-breaker pin. The circuit-breaker pin is connected to an external earth system to protect the circuit from any accidental surge.The A12AV-GB toggle switch is a durable and reliable switch which is suitable for a variety of switching applications.
