A1726X Application Field and Working Principle
Incandescent Lamps
An A1726X lamp is a type of incandescent lamp which produces light by heating a filament cable in a gas-filled windless tube. When compared with a traditional incandescent lamp, A1726X lamps provide higher light intensity and longer lifetime. They are low energy and cost efficient and the lamps remain cool to the touch even when on. A1726X lamps are typically used for indoor residential and commercial lighting purposes.
The working principle of A1726X lamps is based on the incandescent lamp principle. When the gas-filled incandescent lamp is powered, a filament cable with a tungsten filament is heated to temperatures around 1900 to 2000° Celsius. As the filament heats up, it starts to evaporate releasing an orange-red glow. This glow is increased by the glass encasing the bulb, which is where the heat generated by the filament is contained and increases the light output efficiency.
Neon Lamps
An A1726X lamp is a type of neon lamp, which generates light by passing a high-voltage current through a glass tube filled with a neon-argon gas mixture. Unlike other types of gas-filled lamps, such as incandescent lamps, the light output of A1726X lamps is higher in terms of light intensity with lower power consumption. A1726X lamps are typically used for both outdoor and indoor lighting purposes.
The working principle of A1726X lamps is based on the same principles as incandescent lamps. The lamp is powered, and a filament cable is heated to temperatures around 1400 to 1600° Celsius. As the filament heats up, it starts to evaporate releasing a cold, white glow due to the reaction between the neon gas and the electric current. The light is further amplified by the glass encasing the bulb, which is where the heat generated by the filament is contained and increases the light output efficiency.
