A6821SLW-T Application Field and Working Principle

A6821SLW-T is a highly integrated power management integrated circuit (PMIC). It is designed to reduce power loss and provide high efficiency in mobile applications such as tablets and smartphones. Power Distribution Switches

The A6821SLW-T integrates low RDS(on) power distribution switches for up to four channels of power distribution. The power distribution switches are capable of supplying current up to 1.5A of continuous current and 3A of peak current. This current rating is optimized for mobile applications which require power from multiple sources. The power distribution switches can be configured for either single supply or dual supply operation.

Load Drivers

The A6821SLW-T integrates three low RDS(on) load drivers to provide control of power switching applications. The load drivers are capable of supplying up to 500mA of continuous current and up to 2.5A of peak current. These load drivers can be used to control power to LEDs, solenoids, and motors.

Linear Regulators

The A6821SLW-T integrates two low dropout (LDO) linear regulators. The LDOs are capable of supplying up to 1A of output current and have an adjustable output voltage range of 1.2V to 5.5V. These LDOs feature low power dissipation, fast transient response, and high ripple rejection to provide stability and accuracy in a wide range of applications.
