The A8904SLPTR are motor drivers and controllers from Allegro MicroSystems, designed for use in motors which must be driven with a combination of high current and low voltage. The A8904SLPTR can operate in any of four different modes: Half Bridge (H-Bridge), Full Bridge (F-Bridge), Mixed Bridge (M-Bridge), or Single Side (S-Bridge).
The motor drivers and controllers feature a variety of control and protection functions. They feature four individually programmable control channels to achieve a combination of current, voltage, and speed control. The internal MOSFET drivers are combination low voltage/high current pulse generators with peak output currents of up to 1.5 A. The A8904SLPTR also includes diagnostic, idle, and active mode PWM outputs, to help reduce emissions and noise.
