AA4040YS is a discrete LED indicator designed to be used in multiple applications.

This indicator is a 4-pin bidirectional STN red color display with an 11-millimeter dome that fits into standard IND-4 displays. Light from a super bright LED is emitted through an opal Diffuser to indicate the state of a device or process on the panel.
The output of the AA4040YS is a bright, sharply defined red light that can be seen in any ambient light conditions. This combination of light output and size make this discrete indicator a great choice for many applications, including alarm and alert indication, system monitoring, and traffic indication.

The AA4040YS is designed to be used with a wide variety of controllers, including AC or DC voltage, current, and serial or parallel data input.
