AC DC Converters have been widely used in home appliances, electric vehicles, and digital products for many years. Among them, the AA60S0500C module is an AC/DC full-bridge power converter module, which is developed for medium-power industrial applications. This module is widely used in areas such as oil-free compressor, frequency converter, high-end UPS, rechargeable tools, battery charger, solar-energy storage system, and so on. Working Principle of AA60S0500C: The AA60S0500C module has a single-phase bridge circuit with a full-wave rectification input stage. It is a full bridge rectifier circuit consisting of four power diodes, which can convert AC 1-phase 50Hz/60Hz input voltage into DC voltage. When the bridge is operated at full load, the current flows through the diode, passes through the load, and is sent back to the bridge through the diode of the other branch to form a closed loop. In order to limit the peak value of the input voltage, a filter capacitor is connected in parallel to the input side of the bridge.
The output stage of the AA60S0500C module adopts a phase-shifted full bridge soft switching technology, which can reduce the voltage stress of the bridge switching components to a reasonable level, and can effectively reduce the switching loss of the bridge in order to extend the life of the switching components. In addition, the AA60S0500C has an automatic power factor correction circuit (PFC) to reduce the harmonic distortion and improve power factor of the output power. Furthermore, the module also has a constant voltage/constant current control function, which can achieve precise control on the output voltage and current. It also has multiple protection and alarm functions as well, such as over-voltage protection (OVP), short-circuit protection(SCP) and output overload protection(OPL).
