Moreover, it has a flexible design that allows for configuration with either stamped and formed or precision machined contacts.In terms of working principle, it is an interrupted contact design, where each contact consists of two contact points. These contact points are separated from each other, creating a tunnel within the contact. The contact points are connected to the mating card via its high reliability “pin-lock” slide-in connection system. The slide-in connection system firmly holds the male receptacle to the mating card, providing a stable, secure connection.The contact mechanism is made from a combination of a gold plated contact and contact spring material. This combination ensures low contact resistance for a reliable connection and low signal attenuation. The contact spring design is robust and powerful, withstanding a high number of mating cycles, and providing an extended temperature range.The AAC17FSLN card edge connector is RoHS compliant and operates in cable segments up to 150pF.
