AAL002-02 is a linear magnetic sensor produced by Asahi AGC Inc., a leading semiconductor manufacturer in Japan. The AAL002-02 magnetic sensor is designed to detect linear movement in electric motors, pumps, and other applications that require precision magnetic sensing.AAL002-02 is a two-channel magnetic sensor. The first channel measures the magnetic flux density and the second channel measures the displacement of the magnetic flux. It can measure linear displacements in outer diameters and inner diameters with high accuracy and a fast response time.
The working principle of the AAL002-02 magnetic sensor is based on the Hall Effect. The Hall Effect is a phenomenon discovered by Edwin Hall in 1879, in which a current-carrying conductor placed in a magnetic field will produce a voltage at right angles to the direction of the current. It is this Hall voltage generated when a current-carrying conductor is placed in a magnetic field, which is a key concept for the working principle of the AAL002-02.
The AAL002-02 employs a Hall-Effect principle, which is based on the interaction between a magnetic field and a channel cut in the substrate. This channel carries a small current, and when a magnetic field is applied perpendicular to the substrate, a Hall voltage is generated. This Hall voltage is then converted to a linear displacement signal that can be then used to detect linear motion.
The AAL002-02 linear magnetic sensor is well-suited for applications such as open-loop and obstruction-detection motor systems, rotary position sensors, angular displacement sensors and linear displacement sensors. Moreover, it is highly resistant to external magnetic fields, vibration, shock, and temperature. This device is highly reliable and is capable of providing precise and reliable measurement for a wide variety of industrial applications. Its small size and low cost also makes it an attractive option for many applications. It is available in a variety of packages, and the product is manufactured in accordance with strict ISO9001 guidelines.
