ACI4420ML is a fan motor drive device developed by Automation Controls, Inc. It is designed for operating voltage of 120 VAC and is designed to provide high speed, low noise, cooling and dynamic control of fan motor operation. ACI4420ML is a highly efficient, self-contained and fully programmable system that contains integrated power drivers, power relays and microcontrollers that provide complete control and status feedback for all types of air conditioning and ventilation applications.The ACI4420ML can be used to control both AC and DC fan motors. It is capable of maintaining precise speed control capabilities and is designed to respond quickly to load changes in the system, allowing for very precise fan motor control. It can also provide temperature regulation and thermal protection, safety monitoring and alarm, and digital and analog I/O.The ACI4420ML includes a selection of four pre-programmed fan speeds and a selection of three pre-programmed fan speeds for DC fans. The ACI4420ML also allows for both high and low speed fan motor operation for larger air conditioning circuits, and for automatic fan speed adjustment during circuit startup.The ACI4420ML provides several features that help in providing a reliable and efficient motor drive. These features include a continuously adjustable speed range, variable speed control, safety brake control, protection against overheat, and signal monitoring.The ACI4420ML has an integrated memory circuit that allows users to store up to sixteen multi-level fan speeds. This memory can be customized by user to provide convenient access to the desired fan speed and configuration settings.The ACI4420ML also allows for adjustable dampening time and frequency, providing for accurate dampening estimates and ensuring the accuracy of the system in controlling the fan motor.In addition, the ACI4420ML also provides operational monitoring of the fan motor drive operation. This monitoring includes fault detection and reporting, engine heat and efficiency monitoring, current driver monitoring, and signal output monitoring.The ACI4420ML is designed to provide reliable, efficient, and accurate control of fan motor operation for all types of air conditioning and ventilation applications. By offering both AC and DC fan motor control, along with a selection of pre-programmed fan speeds, adjustable dampening time and frequency, and operational monitoring, the ACI4420ML is the perfect choice for any fan motor application.
