AD5381BSTZ-5 is a low power, voltage output, 12-bit Digital-to-Analog Converter (DAC) featuring dual-channel, parallel and serial interfaces. This digital to analog converter (DAC) includes multiple power and noise modes. It is fabricated in an Ultralow Power BiCMOS process and delivered in a Green, space-saving 8-pin MLF® package (SK) and a 5-pin SOT package.The AD5381BSTZ-5 is suitable for many precision applications, including industrial, medical, and audio. The device has two independent digital to analog (DAC) integrated circuits, each with its own power mode, noise mode, and serial or parallel data interface. The differential voltage outputs include galvanic isolation from the digital control inputs, allowing for up to ±15 V power supplies. Other features include an industry-standard SPI or micro-wire-compatible serial interface, an IEEE 488™-compatible parallel interface, and low power dissipation. The AD5381BSTZ-5 is delivered in the industry’s smallest 8-pin MLF® package (SK) and in a 5-pin SOT package, occupying only 1 mm2 of board space and providing up to 12-bit resolution at a 25 MHz data rate.Application FieldThe AD5381BSTZ-5 is ideal for applications requiring precision voltage control.
