Working Principle

The AD5398BCBZ-REEL uses an 8-bit digital data input and an internal 8-bit electronic digital-to-analog converter (DAC) to convert digital signals into analog signals. The digital data is provided through the register write address and data bus. The data is then clocked into the 8-bit register by a positive transition of the write clock pin. The internal DAC provides analog voltage output to two channels in both bipolar and unipolar mode with a range from 0 to Vref.
