The EVAL-AD5323DBZ is a digital-to-analog converter (DAC) evaluation board featuring the AD5323, a low power, 10-bit, voltage output DAC packaged in the space-saving 10-lead MSOP, and the ADP1730, a 3 MHz, ultra-low noise and low quiescent current linear regulator. The AD5323 provides 10-bit monotonic performance over the entire operating temperature range of 0°C to +70°C and supports unipolar voltages up to 5.12V. The ADP1730 provides output voltages that range from 1.8V to 5.25V.
The EVAL-AD5323DBZ evaluation board provides an easy-to-use platform for evaluating the analog performance of the AD5323, including its main functionality:
- On-board regulators for easy interfacing and power supply
- On-board jumper selection of reference voltage
- On-board reference and VOUT test points
- Digital control interface options for both 3.3V and 5V logic.
Alternatively, the board can be used as a general purpose DAC platform, for example to generate waveforms or generate a voltage or current ramp. This evaluation board supports a range of 3V, 5V and +24V supplies and requires only a single +3V battery source to power the board.
The EVAL-AD5323DBZ includes the 3 V regulator and the 5 V reference voltage test points, for both TTL and CMOS logic levels.
