The AD5532ABC-5 is a Data Acquisition - Digital to Analog Converters (DAC) component that provides extremely accurate analog output in short conversion time. It is based on an advanced technology process, which enables the combination of high performance parts in the same package. This component integrates a temperature-compensated DAC with a 16-bit parallel-input register, 8-bit DAC address input, 8-bit parallel output mode address input, and a fully differential current source output.

The AD5532ABC-5 operates from a single-supply voltage range of 3.0 V to 5.5 V and provides a 12-bit output resolution. The DAC register programming inputs enable easy configuration of the device, allowing users to select the desired full scale output range, enable/disable the temperature-compensated DAC, and select one of four output current ranges.

The AD5532ABC-5 operates at a maximum throughput rate of 1.5 MS/s, with a maximum settling time of 4.5 microseconds over temperature. The device contains a low-pass filter network, which can be enabled by the application. This filter reduces the harmonic distortion of the DAC output and increases the resolution for digital input signals. The device also contains a built-in clock frequency detector, which can detect the frequency of the input clock and adjust the appropriate values for both the update rate and the settling time.
