The AD5694RARUZ is a high performance, quad 8-bit digital-to-analog converter (DAC) that is designed to offer exceptional accuracy, low noise, and wide linearity at temperatures up to 125°C. It is a versatile device that is well suited for use in applications requiring precision analog output control such as data acquisition, industrial control, or precision instrumentation.

This DAC can operate in either unipolar or bipolar mode and features a temperature coefficient of ±15 ppm/°C maximum over the extended temperature range. It also features an autocalibration circuit that ensures a full-scale output accuracy of ±1/2LSB maximum. The low noise of the converter makes it ideal for precision analog applications requiring low noise output.

The AD5694RARUZ uses a highly integrated charge redistribution architecture to convert digital input codes (0 to 63 in unipolar mode, -32 to +31 in bipolar mode) into their corresponding analog output voltage (0 to 4V in unipolar mode, -2V to +2V in bipolar mode). Analog output settling time is guaranteed to be 95 μs or less, making the device suitable for high-speed applications. The output voltage can be adjusted over the entire range with a single reference voltage, and the input pin voltage reference can be applied externally, eliminating the need for external calibrations.

The AD5694RARUZ has an internal buffer voltage reference which can be adjusted using the reference input pin. The internal buffer voltage reference is designed to minimize noise and ensure low output error. Additionally, the device has an internal 4MHz low power clock which allows for fast data conversion with minimum power consumption. Power down mode is also provided for saving power when in idle state.

The AD5694RARUZ is designed to operate from a single 5V supply and is available in a space saving 16-pin TSSOP package.
