The AD5697RBRUZ is a high-performance, dual-channel, 16-bit digital-to-analog converter (DAC) which offers a small, 4 mm × 4 mm, QFN package in a rugged and highly reliable design. Offering an unbuffered voltage output and very low quiescent current in a low-power, 16-bit solution, it accommodates a wide range of applications.The AD5697RBRUZ leverages a 14 bit + 2 bit Pseudo-differential Architecture (PDA™) which yields superior performance, even in low-power designs. It supports a full-scale output range of 0 V to VDD and offers low Noise, low Distortion, low offset, and excellent Integral Nonlinearity (INL) and Differential Nonlinearity (DNL) for superior performance over a wide range of applications.The AD5697RBRUZ is designed for a wide range of applications, from automotive, industrial and medical to audio, video, and communications systems. It features a fast update rate of 1 Msps and is capable of providing high accuracy with low power consumption. It is designed to work with single-supply and dual-supply operation, allowing it to accommodate applications requiring different power domains.

The AD5697RBRUZ core is based on the ADI Precision Enhanced 16-bit architecture, which delivers superior performance and low power consumption. The pseudo-differential architecture uses a 14 bit +2 bit architecture which allows it to generate higher accuracy while consuming only 1.7 mA/channel of power at 3.3 V. This architecture allows for excellent noise and distortion performance, including an extraordinarily low noise floor.The AD5697RBRUZ supports the SPI (Serial Peripheral Interface) interface which enables an efficient communication interface for digital control signals for custom applications.
