Ad580TH is a precision, thermally-stabilized, low noise, three terminal bandgap voltage reference. It is a special performance voltage reference with low power dissipation, typically 2 mW. It has an initial output voltage accuracy of 2mV and a temperature coefficient of 2ppm/℃. It also offers an extremely long operating lifetime of up to 300 million hours.
The Ad580TH’s output voltage is actively maintained at a precise level by a negative temperature coefficient (NTC) circuit. This NTC circuit is adjusted to make the on-chip NTC equal to the external NTC. This allows the reference voltage to be accurately calibrated during manufacture and provide a more stable reference during use.
