The versatility of the device is further enhanced by its built-in switching buffering options and 2 SPI/I2C compatible serial ports.The AD7794BRUZ-REEL is an 18-bit ADC that converts differential or pseudo-differential analog signals over the 0 V to 5 V input range to its digital equivalent in SINC4 filters for frequency response and Software correlated Double Sampling (SCD) for low noise. The device contains 12 digital filter coefficients, enabling a user-selectable anti-aliasing filter from 300 kHz to 40 MHz, improving the signal-to-noise ratio of the ADC by up to 5 dB.Several power-saving features are included in the AD7794BRUZ-REEL. An adjustable voltage detector provides configurable wakeup or sleep modes, while a low-power shutdown capability turns off the ADC when not in use. An isolator can be used to reduce power draw even further while keeping the device’s system-level noise level low.The high accuracy and versatile features of the AD7794BRUZ-REEL make it an excellent choice for a variety of high performance data acquisition and control applications.
