The AD7875KR-REEL is a high performance, 16-bit analog-to-digital converter (ADC) that is ideal for a variety of applications including industrial, medical, and consumer applications. This device has a low power consumption of 1.5 mA (5V supply) and a small form factor that reduces board space while providing excellent performance. The AD7875KR-REEL also features excellent linearity and a wide dynamic range, making it extremely suitable for instrumentation and signal conditioning applications.The AD7875KR-REEL ADC is a two-channel, 8-bit, 16-bit, or 24-bit device with a sampling rate of up to 400 kHz. It features an on-chip PGA (Programmable Gain Amplifier) which makes it ideal for precision data acquisition. The device can operate from a single 5V power supply and has two differential inputs for differential analog input signals. The digital outputs are 16-bit CMOS and TTL compatible.The AD7875KR-REEL is a complete analog-to-digital converter consisting of a low power CMOS analog-to-digital converter, a differential amplifier, a 13-bit programmable gain amplifier and a filter amplifier. The major advantages of using the AD7875KR-REEL converter are its wide input range, its high sample rate, its low power consumption, and its small form factor.The DAC circuit within the AD7875KR-REEL converts voltage levels in the analog domain to their digital equivalent, or the digital equivalent of the analog input.
