The AD8005ANZ is a high performance, wide bandwidth and low distortion instrumentation amplifier. It features very high slew rate, wide differential voltage range and low input bias current. It is suitable for use in a wide variety of applications such as medical and industrial instrumentation, audio, telecommunications, sensor-related measurements and process control.

Principle of Operation

The AD8005ANZ is designed as an instrumentation amplifier with a differential input stage, differential gain stages and a single ended output stage. The differential input stage is based on a pair of input differential amplifiers, each of which consists of two p-channel and two n-channel MOSFETs and two current mirrors. The differential gain stages are based on a pair of transconductance amplifiers, each of which consists of an inverting input and an attenuating output. The output stage is composed of an output differential amplifier, which consists of a pair of p-channel and n-channel MOSFETs and two current mirrors, and a single-ended output driver circuit.

The AD8005ANZ comprises of a differential input stage, a differential voltage gain stage and a single ended output stage. The differential input stage consists of a pair of input differential amplifiers. Each input differential amplifier comprises two p-channel and two n-channel MOSFETs and two current mirrors.
