AD8041AR is a high-performance rail-to-rail current feedback amplifier (CFA) made by Analog Devices. It operates with a wide supply voltage range of 2.2V to 36V and is capable of providing high input impedance and rail-to-rail output capability at supplies as low as 3V. The AD8041AR works by using a current Feedback architecture and a High Common Mode Rejection (CMRR) amplifier design. The current feedback amplifier architecture is based on the concept that the voltage gain of the amplifier is directly proportional to the input current. In the AD8041AR, the upper transistor stage is configured such that the base-emitter junction current is mirrored, so it is always equal to the input current. This current is then amplified by the lower stage, which is connected in a common-emitter configuration. Thus, a current source is created at the input terminal which corresponds to the base-emitter current, resulting in a higher output voltage. Additionally, the common-emitter configuration also helps to provide high CMRR, as noise currents in the ground and supply lines do not affect the output as much.
