The AD8370ARE-REEL7 is an amplifier module designed for operation in industrial and automotive applications. It is a monolithic integrated circuit that combines the functional characteristics of an operational amplifiers (OP AMPs) and buffer amps in one device. This dual-functionality makes the AD8370ARE-REEL7 especially useful for applications such as signal conditioning, motor and servo control, instrumentation and power supply monitoring, With its high-maximized input common-mode voltage range, versatility and low-current draw, the AD8370ARE is a great choice for any application requiring low power and a high degree of accuracy. The AD8370ARE-REEL7 has three primary traits that separate it from other amplifiers available on the market: low noise, low distortion and low power consumption. The amplifier is able to produce extremely low-distortion signals while using less than 5mW of power. This makes the AD8370ARE-REEL7 suitable for instrumentation and other power-sensitive applications. Additionally, the low-noise inputs enable the amplifier to produce very accurate signals, even in noisy environments. The AD8370ARE-REEL7 operates in three configurations; AC, Differential and Single-ended. In AC configuration, the INA pin is connected to a bias voltage which sets the common-mode voltage for the inputs. In differential mode, the amplifier’s inputs are connected to two sources and the outputs are available as differential signals. In single-ended mode, the inputs are only connected to one source and the amplifier outputs a single-ended signal. The AD8370ARE-REEL7 incorporates two main building blocks: an input stage and an output stage. The input stage consists of three wide-bandwidth complementary ready-to-use transconductance gains stages (G1, G2 and G3) that are each used to amplify the differential voltage between two terminals. The gain stages convert the input voltage into current, which is then transferred to the output stage. The output stage is an in-phase output stage that contains two complementary emitter followers (R1 and R2) and two complementary current mirrors (Q1 and Q2). The output stage is designed to provide a high level of current accuracy, stability and low noise. This makes the output suitable for use in precision, low-noise analog and digital applications.
