The ADA4941-1YR-EBZ evaluation board is a highly versatile unit designed to evaluate the ADA4941-1YR current feedback instrumentation amplifier (CFI). It allows easy testing of the ADA4941-1YR’s features including various gain settings, input swing, and supply voltage. This evaluation board is particularly useful for applications requiring precision signal conditioning such as automated test equipment, medical instrumentation, and audio and video equipment.

The ADA4941-1YR is a low-voltage, low-noise, and high-speed instrumentation amplifier designed for low-level current loop signal conditioning. It is ideal for high-precision sensing applications where the device can be powered directly from the sensor without the need for an external power supply. It features a low input impedance, low noise, high linearity, and low power consumption. Its versatility makes it suitable for applications in industrial process control, medical instrumentation, automated test equipment, audio, and video.

The ADA4941-1YR-EBZ evaluation board includes a full set of components required to evaluate the ADA4941-1YR. It includes two precision operational amplifiers in 10-pin SOIC packages, three precision voltage reference pins, a full-scale gain adjust feature, and two fixed feedback resistors. The evaluation board also has a single-ended input range of ±1.1V (divider-resistor limits) and a resulting current loop input range of ±1.2mA.

The ADA4941-1YR-EBZ evaluation board operates on a single 3.3V supply and is designed to operate over a wide temperature range of -40°C to +125°C. It has a low energy consumption of 8.2mA at the recommended 3.3V supply and 9.1mA at the maximum 3.6V supply. It has a high CMRR (Common Mode Rejection Ratio) of 74dB and can operate up to 2.9MHz bandwidth. Finally, the board uses an ultra-low noise architecture to minimize the effect of noise on the signal’s integrity.
