ADA8282CP-EBZ Evaluation and Demonstration Boards and Kits Application Field and Working Principle

The ADA8282CP-EBZ evaluation boards and kits are designed and manufactured by Analog Devices, Inc. for use in a variety of industrial, commercial and consumer applications. The kit is available in three versions consisting of the ADA8282CP-EBK baseboard and two extension boards; an ADA8282CPD-EBK Demonstration Board and an ADA8282CPL-EBK Low Frequency Board. The ADA8282CP-EBZ evaluation boards and kits provide an easy-to-use platform for evaluating the performance of the ADA8282CP mixed signal integrated circuit (IC) and demonstrate the features and advantages of the device in the application.

Analog Devices\' ADA8282CP is a dual signal-conditioning IC for the signal-conditioning of non-invasive physiological measurements from medical, exercise and consumer health monitoring equipment. The IC has integrated A-D and D-A converters with programmable gain amplifiers and a high-performance analog-to-digital converter featuring a programmable equalization filter providing low noise and high signal-to-noise performance. It also includes an on-chip temperature sensor and an on-chip temperature-to-frequency converter which is used to provide temperature-compensated frequency signals for the temperature sensor, allowing accurate temperature monitoring and compensation.

The ADA8282CP-EBZ ensures that the ADA8282CP can be easily incorporated into a wide variety of end products with minimal development time. The board includes 8 different operating configurations, which allows the user to easily configure the IC for the application by selecting the appropriate operating configuration. Additionally, the adjustable gain of the programmable gain amplifiers enables the ADA8282CP to be used in a wide variety of sensor and signal sources with varying frequency bandwidths and levels of signal-to-noise independence.

The ADA8282CP-EBZ boards provide the user with an easy-to-use platform to evaluate and demonstrate the features of the ADA8282CP in the application. Additionally, the board can be used to generate a variety of sinusoidal and temporal signals for analysis using the internal temperature sensor. The board also features an on-board capacitive touch interface for demonstrating the features of the ADA8282CP for touch-sensitive applications. The evaluation board and kits allow the user to easily test the performance of the device in a wide variety of applications.
