Working Principle of ADM1027ARQZ
The working principle of ADM1027ARQZ is mainly divided into two parts. The first is temperature detection and the second is fan speed control.
The ADM1027ARQZ integrated circuit can detect temperature through the integrated temperature sensor based on a thermal diode circuit. The temperature diode detects the surface temperature of the device or component. When the temperature changes, the voltage value between the two electrodes of the temperature measurement circuit changes. The microprocessor receives the voltage value and reads the temperature value through the corresponding mapping formula, then the microprocessor gets the current temperature information of the device or component. At the same time, the microprocessor also calculates the fan speed value according to the set temperature range. The calculated fan speed value is outputted through the internal power transistor to drive the fan for speed control.
In addition to the above functions, ADM1027ARQZ also has some other functions. It has two temperature detection methods, selected by users. It can also monitor fan failure, duty cycle control, programmable temperature settings, active thermal protection and adjustable temperature settings.
