It can also be used in serial data processing and embedded applications, such as LCD controllers, laser drivers and infrared remote control. Moreover, it has been widely employed in automotive, aviation and home entertainment applications, such as smart energy management, communication modules and touch screen controllers.</p><h3>Working Principle</h3><p>ADM1485ARMZ can be used as a single chip solution for the acquisition and processing of various digital signals. Its working principle is based on a dual-port Random Access Memory (RAM) which can store the data from each port and route the data from one port to the other. This allows the chip to receive data from one port and transport it to the other, while also allowing it to acquire data from both ports simultaneously.</p><p>The ADM1485ARMZ transceiver is based on the standard Fast Ethernet transceiver and includes an integrated 10/100 Mbps phy to enable full duplex data transmission. The chip supports two Ethernet media access control (MAC) ports which can be configured in either half-duplex or full-duplex mode. The chip also supports IEEE 802.3x control frames such as Link Integrity Test (LIT) and flow control protocols.</p><p>The ADM1485ARMZ transducer is a high performance analog interface designed to increase the sensitivity of an analog to digital conversion. It features built-in timing circuitry which can synchronize the analog signals with the digital signals received from the other ports.
