If the sense resistor voltage exceeds the threshold, the reset output will go low and remain low until the sense voltage drops. The device also offers an input overrun protection feature, which monitors the voltage of an external power supply input pin. This feature prevents the device from being damaged if the input voltage exceeds 5.5V.
