PMIC (power management integrated circuit) is an important part of any power control design. They manage and regulate power to ensure proper system performance. PMICs can be categorized in to Supervisors, buck regulators, linear regulators, and buck-boost regulators. Supervisors are used for system protection and for redefining power management. In this article, we will focus on ADM705AR, a supervisor from Analog Devices, and its application field and working principle.
