The PVM monitors voltages ranging from 1.5 V to 4.1 V, with a 1.2% accuracy. It generates an interrupt signal to the controller, when the detected voltage falls below 1.4V. The HVD monitors voltages ranging from 1.4 V to 10V, with a 5% accuracy, and it issues an interrupt to the controller when the voltage detection level is attained.The ADM803MAKSZ-REEL7 also features two overcurrent protection circuits, which are used to detect and manage high current overloads. One of the circuits will detect current spikes of 0.25 A to 10A, while the other will sense current spikes of 0.5 A to 8A. If a current overload is detected, the circuit will act to initiate an appropriate action, depending on the settings of the threshold voltage levels.The ADM803MAKSZ-REEL7 also features a comprehensive thermal shutdown protection mechanism, which can detect temperatures of up to 160°C (320°F).
