ADM812RART-REEL7 is an advanced system-level power management integrated circuits (PMIC) fabricated with low-power CMOS process. It combines Supervisors, Power Good Indicator, Precision Reference, and Power-On-Reset functions in one chip. It monitors system power supplies for overvoltage and undervoltage (UV) conditions, helps system safely power up and power down and triggers power-off when power fault is detected. Working Principle Of ADM812RART-REEL7

The ADM812RART-REEL7 works through power pins VDD1 and VDD2. When both inputs reach the rising trip-point, the power good flag is asserted, indicating that the link is established and the system is ready for normal operations. The ADM812RART-REEL7 also can detect a wide range of voltage with its adjustable threshold and will pull the outputs down to reset the system when voltage deviates from the setting point.Besides, the ADM812RART-REEL7 contains a watchdog timer that generates an active low output reset signal when the timer reaches its predetermined time limit. Also, it has an over-temperature protection (OTP) function to ramp down system clock and/or to generate rest signal when chip temperature over limits.
