PMIC - Voltage Reference, specifically ADR445BRZ, is an easy-to-use adjustable shunt voltage reference that operates over a wide temperature range. It is specially designed to provide an accurate and reliable bias reference for dividing circuits, active filters, and other analog circuit applications. It is widely used in differential amplifier and basic instrumentation circuitry. The device is ideal for applications requiring higher current drive, such as low power operation in personal healthcare and instrumentation.The ADR445BRZ is a low power, adjustable, pre-biased shunt voltage reference that operates over a wide temperature range. It is a self-biased, low-noise, extremely accurate and stable device. The device is available in two packages, the SOT23-5 package, and the SOT18 package. The SOT23-5 package has two pins for power and ground, as well as an adjustable current terminal that can be trimmed to meet customer\'s needs. The SOT18 package provides three separate trim points, allowing the user to adjust the reference voltage to the desired level.The ADR445BRZ utilizes an onboard FET switch to provide an adjustable reference voltage ranging from approximately 3.2V to 5.0V. The device leverages a current-steering reference design to provide extremely accurate and stable reference voltage with low temperature coefficient. The device provides up to 60mA of bias current for high-precision applications and is temperature compensated for maintaining a consistent reference output.The ADR445BRZ also incorporates a power saving sleep mode for lower power consumption, as well as a shutdown mode for zero power consumption. The device is also able to detect reverse bias conditions and turn off the output to prevent damage. The device offers additional protection circuits such as a fuse, reverse-polarity protection, over voltage protection and an adjustableTemperature-Band that can be tuned to the designed application range.The ADR445BRZ is a reliable and efficient reference device for low power applications. The adjustable outputs can be used to create precision voltage dividers, compensate for temperature variations and achieve accurate response functions. Its wide input voltage range, low power consumption and protection features make it ideal for mobile device, medical and industrial applications.
