The ADRF6602-EVALZ evaluation board is a board for testing, tuning, and characterizing the ADRF6602 RF Power Amplifier Module (PAM). It consists of a complete RF chain featuring a low-noise amplifier, a fractional-N frequency synthesizer, a power amplifier (PA) with gain control, a bidirectional coupler, an output filter, and an adjustable output power monitor. The board also includes a USB port for interface with a personal computer, allowing users to configure the system for various applications.The ADRF6602-EVALZ board is designed for use with a variety of applications, including but not limited to cellular systems, Wi-Fi, and point-to-point and point-to-multipoint communications. The board can be used both for research and development of new RF technologies as well as for evaluation and tuning of existing systems.Because of the high power levels that it can handle (up to 500mW with the ADMV1484), the ADRF6602-EVALZ evaluation board can be used to test a variety of communication protocols, including WiFi, WiMAX, LTE, 3G, and 4G. For example, if a user wants to determine the best power levels for an LTE system, he or she can use the ADRF6602-EVALZ evaluation board to measure the power output of the PA and adjust it accordingly.The ADRF6602-EVALZ board can also be used for testing the linear range of a PA.
