ADRV1CRR-FMC RF Evaluation and Development kit board is an efficient and cost-effective tool for evaluation, prototyping, and development of wideband transceivers. The device’s low-profile form factor enables it to be easily integrated into systems. It is suitable for research, development and testing in applications such as terrestrial or space-based communications, Advanced Long Term Evolution (LTE)/5G communications, Internet of Things (IoT) applications, digital audio broadcasting, satellite communications, and more.

The ADRV1CRR-FMC is an advanced RF development platform that allows users to rapidly develop and prototype wide-bandwidth, low-power wireless systems capable of operation between 9 kHz to 6 GHz. It features a scalable, high-performance architecture with multi-standard support for communications, including 802.11ac/n/g, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, LTE, and 5G. The transceiver module is based on the AD9361 RFIC solution and provides multi-standard support for communications, with its programmable analog baseband and digital signal processing (DSP) cores.

The ADRV1CRR-FMC also supports the Xilinx Zynq UltraScale+ RF CWG family of heterogeneous SoCs, which combines an ARM processor with a high-performance programmable logic. This enables users to deploy their own custom applications for real-time signal processing, protocol support, and applications acceleration. The kit also includes a board support package (BSP) and drivers for the Xilinx FPGA, providing a quick and easy way to interact and debug the device. The AM5729 SoC also supports industrial Ethernet protocols including 10GBASE-T, 100GBASE-T, and USB3.0.

The ADRV1CRR-FMC board is equipped with a dual transceiver module designed to process wideband digital signals. The module contains two RFICs, a receiver chain with a low-noise amplifier (LNA) and a 4x4 radio-frequency (RF) mixer, as well as a transmitter chain consisting of a power amplifier (PA) and two transmitters. Additionally, the board includes an input and an output Ethernet port for external communication.
