Analog to Digital Converters (ADCs) are electronic components that measure and convert analog signals into digital formats. An integral part of many digital systems, these components are responsible for processing the analog signal input into a readable format for use within a controllable system. One example of an ADC is the Texas Instruments (TI) ADS7822EVM. The ADS7822EVM is an evaluation board designed to give users the experience of testing the performance of an ADC under various conditions and in various applications.
