The ADS7842E is a high-resolution, 12 bit analog-to-digital converter (ADC) designed for use in data acquisition systems and embedded applications. Its low-power consumption and high accuracy make it ideal for applications where battery-powered systems are needed. The ADS7842E provides automated conversion of analog signals to 12-bit digital values in single- or semi-dual-conversion architectures. The unique single-conversion architecture of the ADS7842E results in reduced power consumption, making it suitable for portable and battery-powered applications.
The ADS7842E operates with a single 2.5V or 3V supply. It features low power consumption, with a typical power consumption of only 100µA/conversion.
