The ADUM6210BRSZ is a digital isolator (Isolation Amplifier) from the ADI circuit family that provides a galvanic isolation between digital devices. It can be used to increase data and control signal protection against electrical noise, transmission characteristics, protocol mismatch and transmission speed. With a maximum data transfer rate of 6Mbps, this isolator provides a greater amount of isolation and improved signal quality in harsh industrial environments. The ADUM6210BRSZ is a digital isolator with two independent channels that each include a transmitter and receiver. These channels facilitate bidirectional communication between two isolated systems while providing galvanic isolation. The isolation is achieved through transformer coupling, which also provides excellent noise immunity and improved signal quality. The transmitter and receiver are coupled through an isolated capacitor and connected to the corresponding device on the two isolated systems.
The ADUM6210BRSZ features a maximum data transmission rate of 6Mbps, a low propagation delay of 4.2ns, and a wide operating temperature range of -40°C to +85°C. It also has a self-power shutdown mode and a power supply of 4.5V to 5.5V.
