ADW002 Evaluation & Development Kit is a multi-functional RF evaluation and development kit designed for the evaluation and development of IEEE 802.15.4-based systems. It offers an easy-to-use platform for RF systems evaluation and development. The kit includes the ADW002 Transceiver IC, a DDRS onboard radio, an ISM band antenna, two termination boards, and a range of user-defined software support and hardware accessories for the evaluation of the transceiver.The ADW002 features a 2.4GHz direct conversion transceiver with a 50MHz center frequency, 45dB dynamic range, and a wide range of frequency bands that enable more efficient production of high-bit-rate, low-power-consumption designs. The on-board DDRS radio, which uses the 802.15.4-compliant protocol, provides easy communication between other IEEE 802.15.4-compliant radios. The ISM band antennae offer up to 13dB gain for long-distance communications.When connected to the ADW002, the termination board, or EVB, facilitates evaluation of the ADW002 evaluation board. It supports a range of microcontrollers, allowing developers to program the ADW002 using the vendors’ APIs and line-of-sight communication between the boards. The kit also includes a range of hardware accessories, allowing developers to tune, evaluate and optimize the performance of their designs.The software development tools simplify the development process for the ADW002.
