The AF4GSSEL-OEM is also used in embedded applications such as digital video recorders and NAS/SAN storage systems. The drives are available in capacities up to 800GB, allowing up to 24TB of data per drive. The device also supports Power Disable features to provide data encryption for added security and protection from data theft.

The AF4GSSEL-OEM utilizes UDT architecture and a Toggled low-power DRAM for optimized read/write operations. The UDT architecture accelerates read/write operations to the flash memory while Toggled low-power DRAM increases the throughput and endurance of the device. The device also supports Power Disable features which helps prevent data theft.

The AF4GSSEL-OEM has an advanced drive firmware that manages the device\'s features such as power management, secure erase, and wear leveling algorithms to ensure the device works optimally and its data stored securely. Wear leveling algorithms redistribute data across multiple cells to increase endurance and reduces the risk of cell failure. The secure erase feature enables the users to completely and securely erase all data from the drive while the power management feature helps reduce power consumption and also provides higher performance and longer battery life.
