AFPX-DA2

The AFPX-DA2 controller is an intelligent digital controller and communication device with high reliability and signal diffusion aimed at industrial automation. It is broadly utilized in applications such as industrial, transportation and civil communication and control. In a remote terminal, or RT, the AFPX-DA2 is an essential controller operating as a signal repeater, ensuring multiple computers remain connected and synchronized.

The AFPX-DA2 combines motion control, software co-simulation, I/O control and multiple instruction modes in one unit. It has also two additional ports with differential sensing, ten binary and ten analog input channels, as well as two additional outputs.

The AFPX-DA2 is used to directly detecte voltage signals from sensors and input them into the RT. The voltage of each signal can be easily monitored and their analog/digital conversion can be instantly adjusted to the respective sensors based on their current conditions. Furthermore, the AFPX-DA2 can be directly connected or coupled to the RT, ensuring that networks remain online and secure.

When it comes to the AFPX-DA2’s working principle, the controller has been designed to ensure that the exact voltage is provided by the RT for the purpose of normal running of the device. The voltage is regulated based on the type of sensors that it is connected to and their respective current requirements. Moreover, ther AFPX-DA2 has two additional ports for aditional differential sensing, which helps in accurately calculating the voltage inputs from the sensors and ensure safe operation of the device.

The AFPX-DA2 controller also has certain motion control and timing features. It can be configured according to needs in order to calibrate the acceleration of stepper motors, and commands can be sent to the stepper motor in order to execute programmed motion tasks. It also has a timing mode that can be used to accurately control the speed of the stepper motor, with an accuracy of +/- 0.1%.
