Al1663rs-13 is an LED driver with PMIC (Power Management Integrated Circuit) capability. It can be used to drive digital, single-color and multiple-color LEDs, including red, green, yellow and combinations of colors, as well as other applications that require a regulated power supply.The device features a programmable step dimming profile, dynamic current limit and thermal protection, allowing it to be used in a wide range of applications. It\'s also capable of dimming a single current channel or simultaneously dimming two current channels.The device operates using a low-noise switching regulator that can provide a regulated constant current output to the LED by modulating the on-time of its output switch. This results in a stable output current regardless of input voltage and load variations. The device has a wide input voltage range of 2.8 to 28V, making it suitable for battery-powered applications.The device is designed for simple-to-use and reliable operation. It is protected against short circuits with auto restart and safe area limitation providing additional safety for the application. The device is designed for operation over a wide input voltage and temperature range of -40°C to +85°C.The device is available in a tiny & integrated 10-pin MV-DIP and a 10-Pin TSSOP package.
