The ALD2331PAL is a multi-channel linear comparator with selectable reference voltages. It has two differential inputs that accept an input signal and a reference input signal and a selectable reference voltage range, typically 0.8V to 2.4V.The device utilizes a two-stage Differential Amplifier and Voltage Follower configuration. The two stage Differential Amplifier amplifies the difference between the two input signals and the Voltage Follower then drives the load according to the voltage difference.The device has a programmable Over-Current Protection (OCP) feature that reduces power dissipation in case of overcurrent in the load. The OCP is programmable via the OCP pin.The device has an internal, configurable logic output mux that can be used to control the output logic of the device and to route the output signal to a particular destination.The ALD2331PAL has an open-drain output stage and can be used in a variety of power delivery and management applications.Conclusion
