• Working principle of ALO20A48-S DC DC Converters
The ALO20A48-S is a full-bridge, isolated, DC/DC converter with a wide input voltage range. Primarily designed for high efficiency, the device converts a wide input voltage of up to 48V to a regulated output voltage in the range of 3.3V-20V. The input voltage range covers both the high voltage and the low voltage levels. Unlike other converters, the ALO20A48-S utilizes a full-bridge topology, which allows for a much higher efficiency than a standard converter.The working principle of the ALO20A48-S is based on the full-bridge topology. Here, a capacitor, connected between the positive and negative terminals of the input voltage, forms the bridge rectifier part of the circuit. This bridge rectifier is further utilized to charge an input capacitor, which acts as the energy storage element for further energy conversion.
