ALT80800KLPATR is an LED driver module developed by Allegro MicroSystems and is intended for general LED light source applications. The module provides cost-efficient LED source solutions and provide a complete LED module with a constant current source that accepts wide range of input voltages.
Overview
The ALT80800KLPATR is a 3x2x1.25mm, 10V to 24V input , single channel LED driver module designed to provide a constant output current to drive high brightness LED array basically with the same current requirement. It provides the capability of operating up to 3A of LED current at 85°C degree maximum junction temperature. The LED driver module also provides an input power selector to choose an appropriate operating voltage for different LED arrays.

Working Principle
ALT80800KLPATR works as a constant current source to offer a constant output current over a wide input power voltage range. The module’s output current is set with the on board Ammeter, while temperature compensation is used to maintain lumen output. The module also incorporates beam shaping current setting with output sense technology.
The ALT80800KLPATR LED driver module also offers the ALINE interface compatibility. As an option, the ALINE interface allows for the customization and remote adjustment of dimming and color control, as well as system integration with the ALINE Control System.
