The AMG-500 is an advanced gravity field measurements instrument used for navigation, scientific research, geology, hydrology and other applications. It is designed to be compact, lightweight and durable, making it suitable for field operations. Its working principle relies on the measurement of components of the Earth’s gravity field, such as total gravity, vertical acceleration, horizontal acceleration, and Free-Air gradiometry. It is capable of making measurements to within one milligal accuracy.
The AMG-500 uses a number of sensors to accurately measure components of the gravity field. These sensors include a vertical force field gradient sensor, vertical acceleration sensor, horizontal acceleration sensor and a Free-Air gradiometer. All sensor readings are logged into a built-in computer. The computer then processes the readings and displays them on a large, graphical user interface which is viewable from up to 10 meters away. The readings are ideal for navigation and scientific research, allowing accurate measurements of the Earth’s gravity field to be made quickly and easily.
The AMG-500 is also capable of accurately making measurements of the gravity field in a variety of environments, including on land, in the air and underwater. It is equipped with a range of sophisticated communication technologies that allow it to receive data from remote sensors. This enables the instrument to measure the gravity field up to 10 kilometers away. It can also process data from various other remote sensors, such as gyros, radars, and Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS).
In addition to measuring the gravity field, the AMG-500 can also be used to measure the motion of a geographical object. This is known as kinematic motion measurement and is useful for monitoring geological movements and tectonic processes over a period of time. It can also be used to measure the rate of deformation of structures, such as dams, bridges, and buildings.
The AMG-500 is a powerful and versatile instrument that is suitable for a variety of scientific and navigation applications. It provides robust and accurate results in all environment and is capable of providing the necessary data to create detailed maps, charts, and graphs. By combining its gravity field measurements with readings from other sensors such as GNSS and radar, it allows a wide array of gravity field studies to be performed quickly and accurately. The AMG-500 is an invaluable tool in the fields of navigation, science, and geology.
