- Automation of secure authentication
- Localized asset tracking and security
Features
The ANT4-M24LR-A evaluation board comprises a wide range of features including:
- Multi-standard support (ISO/IEC 14443, ISO/IEC 15693, NFC Forum Type 2)
- Multi-frequency read/write options (13.56MHz/860 ~ 960MHz)
- User memory configuration: up to 128 bits of dynamic user data
- On-board USB interface
- USB-powered operation
- Integrated LEDs for visual feedback
Working Principle
The operating principle of the ANT4-M24LR-A is based on the communication between two devices – the tag and the reader. The reader acts as a gateway to the outside world, providing a means for remote communication with the tag and collecting data from the tag. The tag, on the other hand, is the source of data, capable of storing a variety of user data as well as performing a variety of complex operations.
The tag can perform a number of functions such as reading user data, verifying user authentication credentials, or writing data back to the reader. It also has the ability to respond to command requests from the reader. When the tag receives a command from the reader, it processes the command, performs the corresponding operations, and sends back a response to the reader when the operations are finished.
The reader is responsible for initiating and maintaining the communication between the tag and the reader. The reader communicates with the tag by sending commands and waiting for responses from the tag. It can also read data back from the tag, or write data to the tag.
The ANT4-M24LR-A evaluation board is a simple but effective tool for evaluating the features and performance of Murata\'s Type1RF products. With its comprehensive range of features, it is an ideal tool for both laboratory and field applications.
